National Car Wash Day

National Car Wash Day was created to give the entire car wash industry a day designed with all of us in mind—automobile makers, car wash operators, chemical providers, employees, vehicle owners, and even potential sponsors. In 2018, Bentley Brandon, The Car Wash Guru, took this vision directly to then-Georgia Governor Nathan Deal, launching it as a Georgia initiative. In 2019, Bentley expanded the initiative by bringing it to other governors and state leaders, helping it grow into a multi-state, national movement. Now, July 14 is promoted and recognized annually as National Car Wash Day—set aside to drive one of the industry’s biggest revenue days of the year through coordinated promotions, press conferences, media attention, and community excitement—essentially the “Car Wash Super Bowl.” The day is also personally significant, as it falls on Bentley Brandon’s birthday, making the mission both industry-wide and deeply personal.
